About Us
Acoustics Records is a musician-driven independent record label. We're dedicated to producing folk, classical and children's music of the highest quality, and we also offer some recordings from other, similar, independent labels. We want you to be totally satisfied with any CDs, downloads, books or DVDs you buy from us. If you have any suggestions or comments please email us using the 'contact' link in the navigation bar at the top of each page.

Making A Purchase
Just browse the catalogue and select the items you require by clicking the "Add To Basket" buttons. If you'd rather just pick up the phone (+44 (0)118 926 8615) or send us an e-mail (shop@acousticsrecords.co.uk), that's fine! After you've finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you'll be asked for a few details that we need to be able to fulfil your order. Prices are displayed in British Pounds, but if this is not your local currency, the conversion will be calculated automatically either by PayPal or by your credit card company.

Postage and Packing
The charge for postage, packing and handling depends on the number and size of the items purchased; it also depends on what country we're posting to. It is calculated automatically by the shopping basket on this site and appears at the checkout page.

Delivery Schedule
In the two weeks up to Christmas we turn orders round straight away but at other times please allow ten days for delivery within the UK (although it's usually quicker than this). We keep certificates of posting for all orders, so if you live within the UK and haven't received anything within ten days, please contact us.
If you're ordering from outside the UK, we send by standard airmail. Delivery times vary throughout the world, but if you haven't received your order within two weeks, please contact us. The current international situation has meant that occasionally parcels to the USA have suffered delays of up to a month.
Particularly heavy items can be sent by courier; please contact us for a quote.

Back Orders
Just occasionally an item may be out of stock. This should be shown on the website. If, inadvertently, this is not the case for a particular stock item, we'll tell you immediately and advise you how long the delay might be. You'll be able to cancel your order and receive a full refund if you would rather not wait.

Credit Card Security
Your credit card details are securely received and cleared by our online bank. We then receive notification to dispatch your order but we DO NOT receive your credit card details.

Guarantee
We want you to be totally satisfied and we guarantee to try our hardest to make sure that this is so. If at any time you feel our service doesn't match your expectations, please contact us and we'll try our best to put things right. We'll deal with any problem promptly and fairly. In the unlikely event that the matter cannot be resolved immediately, then you'll be kept informed about progress. Under normal circumstances we'd aim to resolve any complaint within one week.

Privacy Policy
The only information we require from you is that which is necessary to process your order. Any information you give us will remain totally and utterly confidential and will only be viewed or used by us to assist in processing your order.
We NEVER receive your credit card details through this website; they are only received by our online bank. We NEVER disclose any information about you to third parties other than for the purpose of parcel delivery.
It is your right to know exactly what information we hold about you. If you have any questions about our privacy policy, please contact us. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. take and fulfill customer orders
b. administer and enhance the site and service
c. disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes only
d. send you occasional newsletters if you have joined our list

Returns Policy
If you're not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we'll replace it, change it for something else, or give you a full refund.
